I think I finally figured out what it is that makes a Yamashita design/illustration so... “Yamashita.” It's the eyes. They just make you melt and feel like they are looking right at you.

The sculpt is very minimalist (as opposed to the more detail-oriented likenesses) but captures a lot of detail, especially on the boots and the elbow pads. You’ve even got a great under skirt detail.
